การใช้ Verb to do
Verb to do ได้แก่ do , does , did , done มีหน้าที่ คือ
1. ทำหน้าที่เป็น Principal verb แปลว่า ทำ ในกรณีเช่นนี้เมื่อทำเป็นประโยคปฏิเสธหรือ
คำถาม ต้องใช้ Verb to do (do , does , did) เป็น Auxiliary verb ถ้าไม่มี
Auxiliary verb ใดๆอยู่ในประโยค เช่น can , could , may , might , must , will ,
would , shall , should , ought to , need , dare , Verb to be หรือ Verb to
have เช่น

Yes, you do. Did she do her work last night ? No, she did not. Does the girl do the exam very week ? Yes, she does. Can They do the work ? Yes, they can. Will mother do housework ? Yes, she will. Must everybody do the best ? No, she (he) must not. Has the boy done it ? Yes, he has. |
2. ทำหน้าที่เป็น Auxiliary verb ช่วยในการสร้างประโยคปฏิเสธหรือคำถาม เมื่อประโยคนั้นๆ
ไม่มี Auxiliary verb ใดๆ เช่น
